For Such A Time As This
We have the words of the Edge Kingsland song (Wairua Tapu/Holy Spirit Welcome) in our kitchen. I walk by it every day and rarely look at it. The Lord spoke to me on 7 March 2018. He said NOW is the time the Holy Spirit is coming to New Zealand in an unprecedented way, He will cover the land. He took me to the words of the song on our wall, to stop and read them. He impressed upon me so strongly that the Holy Spirit is to be "USHERED IN WITH HONOUR."
We together as a united body of Christ, Maori and Pakeha, are to unite to welcome Him. He prompted me to paint this prophetic painting as a visible way of ushering Him, as a way of MARKING THE TIME, which is now.
In a vision I saw a day of gathering together where we engaged in the prophetic act of a powhiri, to welcome the Holy Spirit to our land with honour, praise and worship. We sat this painting at His feet as a gift of faith and gratitude. It is a beautiful picture of humility, faith and unity. I painted this as the Lord directed me to, and I believe it is not just for my church, it is for the Nation of New Zealand, for the whole body of Christ to align with.
